yea yea, i know, i'm slacking on the blog. Things have been crazy. So much music, and so little time. No, that's crap. so little sleep is more like it. You know what i realized? when you stop trying to be something or write in a certain way, you write a fuck load more. I think that's where things got jacked up before. i was always trying to be 'heavy'. Who gives a shit? Write what you feel, and then you're good. you'll have so much music, you won't know what to do with it all. Anyways, we just lined up something pretty kickass. We are going to do an acoustic set in the Hot Topic at Mall of the Bluffs in Council Bluffs, IA. That will be a first for me, and i'm pretty excited. I'm not sure what to expect, but you know what? Those usually are the best shows. And that's the cool thing about this band. We are actively trying to do things differently. I don't think any of my other bands could pull off an acoustic set at a Hot Topic. We are actively trying to throw people for a loop. I kind of enjoy it. Some say that the definition of 'insanity' is doing the same thing and expecting different results. Well, BOH is doing the ass opposite of what we've ever done in our collective pasts, and its nervous. but a good nervous. That's kind of the point i suppose.
